On November 30, 2015, the Caspian Center for Energy and Environment of ADA University and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation with the support of the Coca-Cola company organized a tree planting campaign in the BMX Velopark venue located in the Shikh settlement in Baku.
Rector of ADA University Amb. Hafiz Pashayev, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation Sahib Alakbarov, General Manager of the “Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottles” company Cem Becel, along with students, media representatives, and cycling lovers participated in the campaign resulted in the planting of one thousand trees.
Since May 2015, more than 14,000 trees have been planted in the BMX Velopark venue within the framework of the partnership campaign between the Caspian Center for Energy and Environment of ADA University, the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and the Coca-Cola company. The campaign, envisaging the planting of 45,000 more trees in the park, seeks to preserve Azerbaijan’s water resources and contribute to the country’s ecological state.
