On April 27, 2015, CCEE held a round-table discussion on “Global Energy Security” with Dr. Ariel Cohen, an internationally renowned expert on energy policy, with a particular focus on Russia/Eurasia, Eastern and Central Europe, and the Middle East. He serves as the Director of The Center for Energy, Natural Resources and Geopolitics (CENRG) at the Institute for Analysis of Global Security (IAGS). Dr. Cohen talked about world energy demand/supply trends, the US shale revolution and its impact on the world energy map. He also touched upon the Turkish Stream project, the Southern Gas Corridor, and other possible energy sources for Europe. The event, attended by students, representatives of embassies and private sector, was followed by a lively discussion and Q&A session.
